Buy a Meal to feed the Hungry!
Restaurant Owner Instructions

These "instructions" are pretty simple, loose, and flexible. There are no real rules. If you want to be involved and help, that is where it starts! You have complete control on how and when and if you will participate. All we want is for you to be honest and to be willing to try. We believe that your efforts and generosity will benefit your business as much as it will help the community. You can decide to have some coupons at your restaurant (you'll need to print some). Or, you can require customers to bring them in. You decide if more than one can be used at a table. You may wish to set a minimum sale amount to use the coupon. You can do this at certain times of the year, like holidays, or all year long. You are free to use our information in your ads. You may design a larger more interesting sign, or custom printed coupons.

At our investigation the "cost of a meal" determined by the receiving institutions are as follows:

Rescue Mission of Salt Lake
Utah Food Bank
The Road Home
The Salvation Army
Salt Lake City Mission

You have the option to average these amounts to an amount you choose. Please mail your donation often to the organizations.
You might want to challange and convince a colleague, or a neighboring company in a different type of business  to match your donation, and promote their efforts in your store or ads. They could help "sponsor" you.

Use your creativity. Listen to your employees' and patrons' ideas. Use your blessings to help. Use your honesty here. Have fun, and look for good things to happen. Good Luck and thank you!

All we can hope for is that these broken, worried, hungry and sad people can be fed. This can lead to a higher step for many. We have all seen them, we want to help, but are unsure of what's best. This could be a good start to lifting them. Let us know how you are doing, give us stories, etc. Ideas are welcome.
